Project information:

Location: Kraków (hybrid model of work - once a week from the office)
Type of employment: B2B contract
Remuneration: 160 - 200 PLN net + VAT per hour on B2B
Project language: English

Your tasks:

Building and maintaining environments to support internal projects, including large-scale database systems on-premises and cloud-based.
Automating workflows and processes, especially those related to keeping systems up-to-date.
Designing and implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to support incident management and prevent user impact.
Managing operations, including root cause analysis for major or recurring incidents and developing remediation plans.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders (Cybersecurity and IT teams) to develop and maintain solutions.
Investigating and delivering innovation within the Cybersecurity team.
Assisting in training, developing, and mentoring colleagues within the Cybersecurity DevOps community.
Preparing and keeping technical documentation up-to-date.

Requirements:

Experience with RedHat (RHEL):
- Proficiency in configuring and managing operating systems (RHEL).
- Strong scripting skills, particularly with Bash.
- Experience with disk management (LVM).
Networking and Network Security:
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and subnetting.
- Experience with firewalls, proxies, and general network security.
Automation and Configuration as Code:
- Strong experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery):
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins for building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex OS and networking configurations.
- Experience with root cause analysis and resolving incidents.
Change Management:
- Familiarity with ITIL-compliant Change Management practices.
Vulnerability Management:
- Good understanding of Vulnerability Management processes and tools.
Operating Systems:
- Proficiency in Windows Server environments.
Cloud Technologies:
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure, and Ali Cloud.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Experience with Terraform and Helm for managing infrastructure as code.
Database Management:
- Experience with MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases.
Containerization and Orchestration:
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
Service Mesh:
- Experience with Istio or similar service mesh technologies.
Monitoring and Logging:
- Proficiency in Application Dynamics for monitoring applications and infrastructure.
- Experience with Splunk for logging and log management.
- Hands-on experience with xMatters for alerting and incident management.
Programming and Scripting:
- Proficient in Bash, Python, and PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks.
Secrets Management:
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management tools.
Artifact Repositories:
- Familiarity with Nexus or similar artifact repository solutions.
Agile and ITIL Experience:
- Experience in Agile environments and ITIL frameworks.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira and ServiceNow for incident, change, and project management.
