Responsibilities:
Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise storage systems, including SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), and DAS (Direct Attached Storage) solutions.
Monitor storage performance and capacity, addressing bottlenecks, and optimizing resource utilization.
Implement and maintain data backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Perform storage provisioning, including volume creation, LUN masking, zoning, and file system management.
Ensure the security and integrity of storage systems, implementing encryption, access controls, and data protection mechanisms.
Collaborate with other IT teams to support storage requirements for databases, virtualization, and other applications.
Develop and maintain storage documentation, including system configurations, processes, and disaster recovery plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve storage issues, working closely with vendors and internal teams.
Participate in capacity planning and forecasting to ensure adequate storage resources are available for current and future needs.
Implement and manage replication technologies to support disaster recovery and high availability.
Stay up-to-date with emerging storage technologies and best practices.
